but the main event of the afternoon
was playing with my hair

the texture, the length
the fact that its right there
for him to grab on it
a whole mix of things i'm sure















but today it was downright mesmerizing!

i swear it looks like he's checking for split ends or something!
do you want to be a hairdresser when you grow up? let's hope not. i don't think daddy would be thrilled with that prospect ;)

i think these might be my favorite from the day
a new angle

now that will can hold onto almost anything and walk around, he made it from the couch to the chair, over to the ottoman and then braced himself on my sleeve and shoulder and made his way behind me.
a little peck on the shoulder
he wanted to get up on my lap
took the long way around ;)



think the thought-process on this one went something like this:
"ooooh the hair lives back here! all of it....this makes more sense
AND i can use this to hold me up!
score!"

and this is definitely my favorite part of babysitting
playing is fun

but when he takes a timeout of his own volition to stop and cuddle for a minute he melts me









note for you tuesday picture fans-- this will be the last 'tuesday set' in a few weeks. next tuesday is my birthday and i'll be at the Sox game, the following tuesday will takes his first trans-atlantic flight to meet his cousins in ireland, and then uncle danny and i will be in daytona. so probably no tuesday pictures until july.... but don't you fret, i'll see the little guy between now and then. for sure :)
