Christmas Eve 2009

We spent another year rocking in Christmas Eve at the Tighe's house! And as always it was a great night.

Riley received some presents from Susan. She's a pro at opening them! I think she exclaimed "blanket!!" when she opened this but in fact it was a beautiful off-white jacket that went with a super pair of cute jeans.

Pepere took some abuse over this hat. It started with Riley, and I think the adults started in later in the night. Although if his granddaughter is this rough with him, it should be interesting to see how he does with his grandson!

I love this picture of Grammy and Aunt Milly. They ended up staying later than usual. I think it was almost 11p! Though Gram was in the car for at least 10 minutes before Aunt Milly finally made her way out there. She still had her box of treats Susan brought her from Modern Pasty in hand- despite Jack's efforts to steal them.

Not too much hijinx to report this year. I think we're all getting old. Long gone are the days of Pat trying to call long distance on the remote control or crazy t-shirt making and pajama wearing. Nah. Forget that. I think we were just taking a year off to get our creative juices flowing again. Next year we'll bring it!
