Father's Day this year was a great, fairly lazy day by the pool. Early June and it was already really warm out so it was a perfect pool day! We all enjoyed some swimming....
and the beautiful scenery -aka dad's handy work in his gardens!
riley even took a spin in her little car- fully geared up. think this might be the new look of the crash-test dummies!
she barely fit in the car with all of her safety gear on it! :)
for dinner dad ordered lobsters, steamers, fish and chips and chicken fingers (for riley) and fired up the grill for my veggie burger. with some salad and fries or onion rings on the side, it was a great, easy meal!

late in the afternoon we got some showers and moved the party inside where it got awfully silly awfully quick!
garret and i hung back while the gang enjoyed some cake and desserts :) not a bad vantage point if i might say so myself.
and a super cute bib.
