the last few weeks

have been anything but ordinary.
where to begin?

how about with the stomach bug? its been going around like wild fire.
riley, mom, dad, garret, me,
kris, aila, terri, doug
bad. really bad.
poor miss aila ended up at Children's for 3 days, severly dehydrated with really low blood sugar.
thankfully she's home and on the mend now.

dan's started practicing with his new, unnamed band.
they practice on monday night, rotating houses.
which means he practices more during the week.
love that.

i've become obsessed with knitting hats.
i'm churning them out like my own little sweatshop
and teaching my coworkers how to make them too

started working out.
training for the 3Day 2010
zumba and walking
moving my legs like crazy on that elliptical.
its starting to feel good instead of like an arduous burden
which is a great turning point.
but finding the time is still really tough.

work has been good.
and its been stressful.
just depends on the day
on the week.
another co-worker, my friend dave,
is leaving.
which means more work
and likely more stress
but hopefully a little more influence and leverage
we'll see how that pans out.

jeff's been working in illinois since presidents' day
mom, dad and i babysitting so melissa can go to classes
love love love those kids
enjoying lots of moments with them lately
makes my heart happy
which is a nice change of pace from the burden and heartbreak that
also seems to come with the territory

had our FRIENDS marathon
with jill and christine a few weeks ago
my cousin melissa wasn't able to join us
so we'll need to plan another
"fine by me!" :)

enjoying the birthday celebrations.
megg is 29. who can believe that?!
and little garret is already 1
such a handsome little dude
in april we've got emelyn, krissy, riley and aila's birthdays to look forward to!

i'm going to virginia to crop this weekend.
over the moon to see 6 ladies i don't often get to see
and with whom i'd love to spend every weekend if it were possible.
psyched to have ryan as my traveling companion :)
and even though i go through phases where i think maybe scrapbooking is a phase i'm ready to pass out of, i'm thrilled to be adding more to my collection of pages.
in trying to organize i pulled out my 2008 & 2009 pages that i've done to date
so many smiles and memories.
milestones for those kiddos who make my life even more joyous than it would be otherwise.
i'm happy to have those pages
and excited to create more.

last weekend we sprang the clocks ahead.
its light out until nearly 7p which is lovely.
i'm looking forward to being able to walk outside after work
instead of being cooped up in the gym.
i'm looking forward to getting outside to take some photos, a love that always gets put
on hold
during the winter months.

looking forward to going to florida
visiting gram
and seeing some other loved ones while i'm there
soaking in some sun
knitting and maybe learning to crochet
reading books and putting my feet deep in the clearwater beach sand.

so that about covers it.
about 2 weeks away from here.
work, germies, birthdays,
happiness, stress,
sweat, tears, laughing
and looking ahead.
