Spring is here in full swing. Of course here in Boston that means anything from 80 degree sunny days to the 50 degrees and 4 inches of rain we got this weekend. But that's ok!
Sunny days are good for baseball games!
This is Jeff and me at the Sox/Tigers game on Monday May 14th! We had a great time. We got a table at Game On! right after work and enjoyed the sun and some people watching while we waited for Karen and Steve, who didn't show up til after 6p.
And rainy days are good for working on the house! Dan has made such amazing progress. I say Dan because he of course has done most of the work, with me helping whenever there is task that I am able to assist him with :) I did do some raking earlier in the month when it was dry and the front yard is already looking so much better.
This past weekend it poured buckets, but that was a good chance for Dan to finish priming the whole house in preparation for the paint (which Don, the taper, will be getting to us on Tuesday). I scrubbed and sanded the windows, then taped them all up. Dan primed and painted those!! What a difference! They look almost like brand new windows. Such an improvement.
Then Sunday we finished cleaning, sweeping and vacuuming to finish the prep for the paint!
It already looks so good. These pictures are a little outdated, but by the end of next week I can post colorful, painted rooms!!!
So yep, huge progress. Its so exciting! And to know that both the paint and the floors will likely be done in the next couple weeks is great!!!!!!!
