Its been a crazy one!
Monday was a normal day. Then Tuesday I found out my cousin Chris was playing with his Abington Basketball Team in the State Finals for Division III Basketball, so I met up with my Dad and probably 20+ of my other Natale family members to watch him game at the Boston Garden. It was a lot of fun and Chris did well. Unfortunately Watertown was just having a better game and Abington lost.
I took some cool photos that I'll upload and post soon.
Wednesday Mom found out that the herniated disc causing severe pain and numbness in her left arm and hand needed to be operated on. It had come on about a week beforehand, but had gotten worse... she was out of work for a couple days, and when her neurologist had come in to visit her at work on Wed morning he said that they couldn't wait any longer. She needed surgery as soon as possible. She was admitted Wednesday night and had surgery at BMC yesterday.
I went over to see her in the PACU. She was sore from surgery but her arm already felt better. By last night she'd eaten a popsicle and some pudding and had gotten up to go to the bathroom so she was making some good progress for her first day post-surgery.
And I just got off the phone with Dad who said she'll be going home today. She's been up walking and has eaten breakfast. Making some good progress. But please keep Mom in your thoughts! I'd appreciate it.
Have a great Friday

It makes me happy that you mum is feeling that good, holding the thumbs seemed to help.
I hope you'll have a good weekend
