more walking photos

these photos are from my walk on May 26th (i know, i'm a little behind)
i pass this church every time i walk. its a beautiful church.
not sure what denomination. pretty sure its protestant.
it was a cloudy day, but you can get the idea.
Edited to Add: This church is the Beechwood Congregational Church.
Dan's Aunt Nancy emailed me with the info.
Kinda sad that she hasn't lived here in decades and yet she remembers
whilest I walk past it at least 4 days a week and... nothing. ;)
beautiful leaves. this bright, yellowy green just screams spring to me.

i think this is a resevoir... its all fenced off.
but i peered over the top of the chain link to get a shot of it.

daisies. my most favorite flower.

as Kathleen Kelly says in You've Got Mail: "They're so friendly. Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?"
I do! They just call to me. We've got a bunch growing in the backyard now! I might go pick some when I'm feeling better and put them on my table so I can enjoy them everyday.

And Lilacs. They don't quite speak to me the way daisies do. But they sure to smell delicious.
I must have stopped 3 different times that day at various lilac bushes to smell their sweet scent.

and this cute little pup. actually not so little. wish you had some scale to reference.
he's a big guy. and very handsome.
thought tini would enjoy this one!!

and irises. i love these too. its funny, purple was always my favorite color growing up, even more than pink... and then i think i got sick of it. too much purple... but now i'm loving it again. so many various shades and tones. purple looks especially nice on an iris, don't you think?
sigh. i've missed walking this past week :( looking forward to getting back out there soon. hopefully mid-week next week. cross your fingers for me.
